Condolence From: Giorgi Baino
Condolence: Just sending some love and support as you go through the reminders of the first year anniversary of Paul's passing. The way that you have all managed to keep up with the demands of running two stores is a true testament of your love and faith. Go slow, take care...GiorgiB

Condolence: Dear Shelia -- I am so sorry about Paul's passing. I hope you and your family get through these dark days, that you reach a place of peace when the only memories are good ones. I don't think we ever stop missing loved ones, but we do get to the point where we can think of them with laughter instead of tears. Debra Stark, Concord, MA

Condolence: I remember the ride I took way back when to visit your health food store. I lived in South Berwick at the time. It was so exciting to have a health food store back then. I recently was thinking about how kind Paul always was to me, when I was in your store and his willingness to be helpful. He always asked me how I was and meant it. He was a man who looked you in the eyes. I will miss his presence. Paul,You and Sheila have raised a wonderful family. The store in Kennebunk has carried on with the same care, concern, and willingness to please the customer. This is your legacy. Along with helping to create a community and keep two downtowns buzzing with whole foods and products that have educated and brought health to peoples' lives. YOu will be missed. I will miss you. I do want to say that I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose someone suddenly. May your faith bring you through your time of grieving. With love, Giorgi Baino

Condolence From: Jeanne (DeNaples) Bartolomeo
Condolence: As a Christian, I know there is hope and death is not the end. Yet I know there’s a place for expressing the feelings associated with losing someone dear to us. It’s appropriate to recognize that the loss of someone so loved and significant to us will change our lives forever. Since time is a healer of wounds, our feelings will gravitate away from despair—which is where we find ourselves so soon after a loss—and toward fond memories. Paul, I knew you long ago, and have very fond memories. I rejoiced to see you and Sheila again when I joined a new church a few years ago. Our paths haven't cross much since, but I know they will again. To Sheila and those who remain, please know that my prayers are with you all. Prayer that, in time, when you begin to leave that sad place your memories will bring peace. May the grace of God reveal a renewed hope as you begin to see and feel, in the every day things of life after loss, your Paul, clothed in light.
