Marguerite V. Jablonski, 81 years, of Fairfield Drive died February 18, 2015 at Southern Maine Health Care with her loving family at her side.

Marguerite was born June 7, 1933 in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of Albert and Marguerite (Ley) Schneider. She graduated from Walnut Hill School in Natick, MA and earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA.

Marguerite taught in the Rutland, MA public school system until the birth of her first son, Frank M. Jablonski, III. It was then that she enjoyed her second career as a full time Mom.

Marguerite loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a beautiful quilter and made numerous quilts for her family and friends. She would often donate quilts to raise funds for various charities.

Marguerite also enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. She was a great cook and loved to garden. She enjoyed socializing and spending time with friends at Dinner Club events. She volunteered for the Kennebunkport Historical Society and was a docent at the Nott House for a period of time.

Marguerite is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband of over 60 years, Frank M. Jablonski, Jr.; her sons, Frank M. Jablonski III and his wife, Deborah, of Lowell, MA and James P. Jablonski of Cumberland, RI; her daughter, Lisa E. Grant and her husband, Andrei, of Marietta, PA; her four grandchildren, Andrew Grant, Michelle Grant, Katherine Jablonski and Alex Jablonski; her brother, Robert Schneider and his wife, Carolyn, of Andover, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 10 to 11:30 am at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk, ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Martha’s Church, 30 Portland Road (Route 1) in Kennebunk. Interment will follow in the spring at Hope Cemetery.
