Obituary for Hoa Van Phan
Berwick, Maine
Hoa Van Phan, 58 yrs, a resident of Berwick, Maine died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home with his family by side of Kidney Disease. Hoa was born in Vietnam on May 25, 1958.
Hoa worked in the fish processing industries for over 20 years, working for American Trawler Seafood Company in Portsmouth, NH and the Anabelle Lee Fish Company in Kennebunkport, ME and finished working for Expanded Rubber in Sanford, ME for the rest of his time.
Hoa loved cooking and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed cookouts and family outings and just being happy.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Hoa is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Michelle (Chabot) Phan of Berwick; his son, Michael Van Chabot and his wife Ashley Swan Chabot of Lebanon, Maine; a granddaughter, Harper Chabot; and his son, Brent Van Chabot of Berwick.
A celebration of Hoa’s life will be held at later date.
Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 in Hoa Phan’s memory.
