Muriel Dora Kimball, 79 years, a resident of Old Post Road, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Muriel was born March 19, 1938 in Clarksville, NH, a daughter of Joseph N. and Dora A. (Rabitor) Beauchemin. She was one of 15 children.

Muriel graduated from Kennebunk High School in 1956. In 1958 she married the love of her life, Ronald F. Kimball and together they raised their three children.

Muriel stayed at home while her children were growing up, taking in other children and housekeeping jobs to make ends meet. After her children were grown, she worked as a factory worker at several companies and was a longtime nanny for a local family. Muriel loved cooking for her family, enjoying many family gatherings throughout the years. She enjoyed going on adventures driving in the car, going to the ocean and especially spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a great “crafter” and had a small business called “Mana Designs” selling her hand crafted pillows, wedding albums and various other items.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Ronald F. Kimball of Arundel; her son, Ronald Kimball, II of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Cheryl Kimball of Saco and Jennifer Martin of Riverview, FL; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.



Visiting hours will be held from 6-8PM on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11AM. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery.
