Obituary for Anthony A. "Tony" Corrado

Anthony A. “Tony” Corrado, 55, of West Newbury, MA and Kennebunkport, ME, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 16, 2017 in Kennebunkport. He was born in Salem, MA on July 29, 1961, the son of Samuel J. and Mary V. (Sciaba) Corrado, and grew up in Weston, MA. Tony graduated from Weston High School, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Fairfield University. He worked most of his career as a freight forwarder, most recently serving as an account manager at FedEx Trade Networks.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Bernadette Mitchell Corrado of West Newbury, MA and Kennebunkport, ME; two daughters, Bernadette Mary Corrado of Washington, D.C., and Mary Katherine Corrado of West Newbury, MA; two sisters, Ann Corrado Musgrave and her husband William of Dover, MA; Vicki Corrado Jacobson and her husband Jay of Seattle, WA; his cousin Ann Marie Sardini and her husband Chris Shriver of Manhattan and Millbrook, NY; his brothers-in-law Dr. Thomas Mitchell and his wife Dr. Cheryl Mitchell of Marshfield, MA and Camden, ME; Michael Mitchell and Mariette Gelfand of Southport, CT and East Hampton, NY; John Mitchell and his wife Cary of Miramar, FL; Edward Mitchell and his wife Rebecca of Mountain Brook, AL; Maurice Mitchell and his wife Sue of Milton, MA; Daniel Mitchell of Haverhill, MA; his sister-in-law MaryJane Mitchell Musumarra and her husband Frank of Stafford, VA and sixteen nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Redeemer Parish/St. Ann’s Church, 300 Main Street, West Newbury. Private burial at a later date in Maine.
