Obituary for Richard Arthur "Dick" Theriault
Richard ‘Dick’ Arthur Theriault, 74 years, of Wells died August 6, 2017 at home in the loving care of his family.
Dick was born February 21, 1943 in Cambridge, MA a son of Albert and Mary (Melanson) Theriault. He graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, Class of 1962. Dick worked as a service technician for Comgas for 30 years. On April 4, 1964 Dick married Anne Elizabeth Doiron.
Dick loved spending time with his grandchildren and looked forward to all the holidays. He enjoyed the beach and especially liked visiting his mom when she was living on the Cape. He was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed old movies.
Dick is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Anne; his daughters, Lynette Croteau and her husband, Todd, of Berwick and Nicole Theriault and her fiancé, Brett Noble, of Wells; his sons, David and Gloria Theriault of Merrimac, NH, Stephen and Linda Theriault of Groton, MA and Richard and Ana Theriault of Gainesville, FL; his sisters, Elizabeth Bregoli and Jacqueline Rafferty; his brother, Albert Theriault, Jr. and his ten grandchildren, Nicholas, Rebecca, Eric, Angie, Dylan, Jared, Sean, Samantha, Marc and Jason.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells, ME. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 10 at 12 noon at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 236 Eldridge Road, Wells, ME. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Wells.
