He is a lifetime member of the AmVets and V.F.W. in Sanford.

Joe is predeceased by his first wife Edna Mae Murby Roux in 1979, his second wife Cecile Houle Roux in 2015,a son Joseph Jr in 1984 and two sisters Elaine Vary and Joyce Corliss.

Survivors include his son David Roux of Jensen Beach, FL, a daughter Donna Rose of Sanford, stepchildren Thomas Brouchu of Sanford, Rachel Webber of Wells and Michelle Wilson of Georgia, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
