Stephen George Liptak, 93 years, of Kennebunk, ME died October 27, 2017 at Durgin Pines in Kittery, ME.

Stephen was born July 20, 1924 in Yonkers, NY to George and Dorothy (Palyo) Liptak, immigrants from Slovakia. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II in the Pacific Theater from 1941 to 1945.

Stephen is survived by his sister, Frances Di Francesco; his daughter, Karen Larmon and her husband, Bruce; his two grandchildren, Janine Peterson and her husband, Larry, and Justin Larmon and his wife, Jaime; and two great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 209 Truman Avenue, Yonkers, NY.
