Condolences

Condolence From: Jim Adams
Condolence: I am a cousin, Jim Adams, and have known Shirley since we were children in Nebraska. I was a city boy from Lincoln, but I often spent the summers with our grandparents, Lane and Maud Adams who lived and farmed near Arnold in the town of Gandy.
Those were great summers for me, especially when I was invited to stay with Shirley and Bud on the Ricketts farm for a few days.
Shirley and I were the same age, Bud a couple years younger but always ready for new adventures and having fun! I still have many wonderful memories of those days. Through the years, we have seen each other at family reunions and when we both lived in Colorado.
When she moved to Maine, we stayed in touch by phone. I talked to her recently, but of course she did not complain so I did not realize she was ill.

Shirley was a wonderful person and friend. She made the world a better place for everyone who knew her and we will miss her.

Condolence From: Sharon Hartman
Condolence: Dear Mary Macbeth and Family,

We were so sorry to hear of your mom's death. We are never ready to lose our moms.

In case you are thinking who is Sharon Hartman, I met you through your mom and scrapbooking. At least that is what I remember. Then I took your daughter's senior photos. My goodness, that as been a long time ago.
