Willard ‘Bill’ Clarke Taylor, 86 years, of Saco died December 3, 2017.

Bill was born November 8, 1931 in Worcester, MA, a son of Reginald L. and Alice (Ellis) Taylor. After attending college, Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy serving in the Silent Service aboard the USS Wahoo.

His love for the sea served him well as a commercial fisherman, and he fished out of Cape Porpoise during the last part of his career.

Bill is remembered by his beloved Patti Forster; his son, Greg Taylor and his wife, Jill, of Buxton along with their children, Andrew, Benjamin and Nathan; and his daughter, Deborah Campbell and her husband, Rob, of Abingdon, Virginia.

Following Bill’s wishes, there will be a private burial at sea with full military honors.
