Guy Devere Stone, 66 years, of Wells, ME died December 19, 2017 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House with his loving family at his side.

Guy was born March 18, 1951 in Tucson, AZ a son of Calvin and Selma (Vidal) Stone. After High School graduation, Guy served his country in the United States Air Force. Guy then worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, the last 20 years of his 33 year career there as a librarian in the nuclear technical library. On June 27, 1992, Guy married Mary Louise Anglin.

Guy enjoyed fishing, playing the drums and music. He loved time spent with his family, especially his granddaughter, Logan, who called him Bumpy.

Guy is dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary; his sons, Jason Hallissey and his wife, Tracie, of Alfred and Christopher Stone and his wife, Christy, of Springvale; his daughters, Colleen Hallissey of Wells, Kathea Stone of Old Orchard Beach and Catherine Card of Sanford; his siblings, Jeff Stone, Andy Stone, Francie Riley, Joan Franks, Paula Oswalt all of Tucson, AZ and Jackie Stone of Prescott, AZ; three grandchildren, Logan Hallissey, Catlyn Marcotte and Kory Card; many nieces and nephews; and his favorite cat, Misty.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 10-noon at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells, ME. A graveside service will follow at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale with military honors at 1 pm.
