Condolence: Dear Jim, We were deeply saddened to learn of Nancy's passing. She was a great person, and I really enjoyed her liturgical contributions on "Ministry Matters" and used her work often. Over the years we had worked on camping and Christian Ed. projects together, and shared a common linkage to St. Paul's UMC in Castleton. May God bless comfort and keep you during this difficult time.

Condolence From: Dear Jim,
Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. I join you and so many others in giving thanks for her life and ministry. I remember her from Argyle, NY many years ago. I remember you walking with her at Annual Conference in Pawlet - with her instead of in your assigned position in the parade of preachers. That told all of us that your relationship with her and, to a lesser degree, with all of us unordained folks, was more important than hierarchy and privilege. I remember the grace you showed when you permitted me to take part in the baptism of my infant nephew in a church you pastored. It was a blessing each time I saw either of you. Peace and grace to you, Cheryl [Kilmartin] Stratton
