Condolence: Kim, Ben, Rachel and Michael: Words cannot adequately express the profound and heartfelt sorrow for the loss of this extraordinary man, Jeff Cole He was a star, that shot across the sky, and dimmed too soon. We basked in his light, and he made us better. When I look for ways to ease this constant ache, I think of how fortunate we are to have known a person such as he; of the laughter and pure joy we shared, and memories that will endure. It just felt good to be around him.

Condolence From: Bob Gills
Condolence: I met Jeff in 7th grade in 1966 when I moved to Kennebunk from Connecticut. He was the first kid to reach out to me and befriend me. We were friends through HS even though he left to go to Berwick Academy I think when he was a junior. He remained a good friend through college years when all the guys would get together in the summer, and even after I left Maine. A great guy, always a plus to be around. And even though I'd been away for 10 years, he called me when my mom died in 1989. I last spoke to him maybe 8 years ago on his visit to Colorado. He reached out to me; that's how he was. Genuine, sincere, the real deal. God bless the Cole family and I pray for comfort for all of you. I am sorry I can not be present at the services due to business travel.

We can only hope that the countless happy memories will get you through the dark times. Kathy and I will miss our friend, Jeff. We reflect on the many times the four of us shared, races, holidays, family events and just hanging out (those were the best). Those memories will never fade for us as they are such an integral part of our experiences that bring us to the present. Jeff would be the first guy to say that we must all carry on and we will, but there will always be something missing. RIP our good friend. We love you. Davey and Kathy Bois

Condolence From: QM
Condolence: Please accept my deepest condolences. It’s always a painful tragedy to lose a loved one in death. It saddens us to think that we may never see our loved one’s smile again or hear their laughter again. But God has promised all of us that one day death will not exist and that we will see our dead loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry. nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I hope that this brings your family a measure of solace during this difficult time. If you have more questions about the Bible and its promises, please feel free to contact me or visit JW.org
