Thomas Rocco Morello, 78 years, of Kennebunk, formerly of Everett and Saugus, MA died May 26, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.

Tom was born January 23, 1940 in Malden, MA, a son of Rocco and Carmela (DiGiamerino) Morello, Jr. He grew up in Everett, MA and graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1958. On August 4, 1958, Tom married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Jane DeRosa. His career spanned greater than 50 years, working for the IUOE, Local 4.

Tom loved time spent with his family. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed following the Red Sox and the Patriots. He also enjoyed woodworking, gardening and tinkering with cars. Most recently, Tom enjoyed Saturday Mass at St. Martha’s with Brenda followed by dinner at Duffy’s.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Wayne and Gerard Morello and his sister, Carole Morello.

Tom is lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda; his sons, Mark Thomas Morello of East Randolph, VT and Steven Peter Morello of Tunbridge, VT; his daughter, Kim Denise Mitchell and her husband, Douglas of Castle Rock, CO; his sister, Roberta Morello of Everett, MA; his grandchildren, Antony Morello, Thomas Mitchell, Jackson Mitchell and Rebecca Morello; and several nieces.

Friends may visit on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 12-2pm at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk, ME 04043. A funeral mass will follow at 2:30 at Holy Spirit Parish – St. Martha’s Church, 30 Portland Road, Kennebunk, ME with Father Fred Morse.
