Claudia Mae Furbush Hughes, 83
Claudia Hughes passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, at her home in Rochester, NH. She was surrounded by her loving family as she entered into eternal peace.
She was born in Berwick, ME on December 18, 1934, a daughter of the late Charles and Blanche Furbush.
She was predeceased by her brothers Charles “Winnie” Furbush, Rev. George H. Furbush and Judson Furbush.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; devoted husband of 53 years, Leo V. Hughes of Rochester, NH; two sons, John Hughes and Sean Hughes both of Rochester, NH; a daughter, Lisa Hughes Leighton of Barrington, NH. Two grandchildren that she adored; Jacob Leo Leighton of Somersworth, NH and Maci Jordan Leighton of Barrington, NH. Her best friend and loving sister, Linda Duranceau and her husband Gary of Old Orchard Beach, ME. And several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 am with Reverend Burt Howe officiating at Evergreen Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Berwick, ME.
