Dot could walk into a room full of strangers and come out knowing everybody. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. Knitting, crochet, and crafts were her hobbies, and she enjoyed traveling to Disney World with family. Dot and Al spent their winters in Davenport, FL.
In addition to her parents, Dot is predeceased by a brother, Nelson Martin; brother-in-law Stephen Gilblair; sister-in-law Pauline Martin.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Albert Gilblair of Lyman; her son, Dennis Gilblair and wife Katy of Buxton; her daughter, Denise Dube and husband Peter of Poinciana, FL; a brother, Raymond Martin of SC; her sister, Theresa Gilblair of Waterboro; six grandchildren, Sarah, Laciann, and Luke Gilblair; Tyler and Brandon Bisson, Erin Beaver and husband Alex and two great grandchildren, Lydia and Ethan Beaver.
