Yvonne B. Archer, 97 years, a resident of Kings Highway, Goose Rocks Beach, Kennebunkport and Englewood, FL died at her home Thursday, May 12, 2016 after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, MA on September 23, 1918, the twin daughter of Arthur Henry and Lydwin (Bernier) Batchelder.
Yvonne graduated from Chelmsford High School. She and her husband, George S. Archer, lived in Chelmsford until his retirement and then moved to Kennebunkport and wintered in Englewood, FL.
She was a homemaker and was an artist and enjoyed painting, playing golf and spending time with her family.
Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, her husband George, two sisters, her twin, Carole B. Dutton and Barbara B. Klemka, a brother Arthur Batchelder.
Survivors include her children, Arthur B. Archer of Otis, ME and Englewood, FL, Charles G. Archer of Kennebunkport and Jean A. Strater of York, ME; three grandchildren, Norman M. Archer, Steven A. Archer and Karen A. Rossignol and five great-grandchildren.
