Obituary for Kazimierz Stanislaw "Kaz" Kudas

Kennebunkport

Kazimierz Stanislaw Kudas, 83, a resident of Kennebunkport, died Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Poland while visiting family there.

Kazimierz was born December 31, 1933 in Wilamowice, Poland, the son of Kazimierz and Stefania Niedbala Kudas, and attended Szkola Podstawowa #2 W Mielcu High School and Technikum Ekonomiczne We Wroclawiu College, both in Poland.

Kazimierz served his country for two years in the Polish Army.

He was employed as an accountant for 35 years, working for several municipal entities in Poland before immigrating to the United States in the late 1980’s, eventually settling in Kennebunkport.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting birds and wild boar in Poland, and taking his grandchildren fishing whenever the opportunity arose in local rivers and the ocean.

He is predeceased by two brothers, Andrzej Kudas and Marian Kudas. He is survived by a brother Wojciech Kudas and a sister Urszula Serafin, both of Poland.

Survivors also include his wife of 55 years, Teresa (Micek) Kudas of Kennebunkport; four sons, Wojciech Kudas and his wife Iwona of Kennebunkport, Marek Kudas and his wife Zofia of Kennebunkport, Tomasz Kudas and his wife Magdalena of Suffield, CT, and Jacek Kudas and his wife Sharry of Kennebunkport; and nine grandchildren Magdalena, Maciej, David, Isabella, Olivia, Gabriella, Jacek Jr., Sara and Kaylee.

Services will be private.

Interment will be in Arundel Cemetery, Kennebunkport.
