Obituary for Daniel A. Gaynor Jr.
Daniel Austin Gaynor, Jr., 77 years, of Wells died January 12, 2018 at York Hospital following a long illness.
Daniel was born in Woburn, MA July 24, 1940, a son of Daniel and Helen (Neergard) Gaynor, Sr. After graduating Winchester High School, Daniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a project manager for several HVAC firms. He was a member of the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks Lodge #2070 and the Wells Elks Lodge #2738 along with the Pipefitters Union Local 538.
Daniel was predeceased by his son, Daniel Austin Gaynor, III and his daughters, Patricia A. Gaynor and Peggy R. Gaynor.
Daniel is survived by his sons, Sean Michael Gaynor of West Frankfort, IL and Scott Patrick Gaynor of Tewksbury, MA; his daughter, Amy Jean Lane of Pittsfield, MA; his sisters, Kathy Dulong and Carol McHale, both of Wells, ME; six grandchildren: two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass and interment for Daniel will be private.
