She was remembered by her family as an incredible baker, and if there weren’t fresh cookies at hand, she would take a bag she had at the ready out of the freezer for her grandchildren’s enjoyment, and always had pets around her, and loved all her cats and dogs.
Lucille could be seen riding her moped around on country roads with her mother, enjoying a ride on a warm day.

Lucille is predeceased by her husband Edward H. Short, her daughter, Linda Hassen, and four grandchildren, Janet, Rhonda, Brandon and Ryan.

Survivors include her son Edward Mark Short of Derry, NH, three daughters Carol Soucy and her husband David, Sandra Wilson and her husband Norman all of Lebanon, and Deborah Gough of Somersworth, NH, 22 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
