Lawrie and Dot were long time members of Berwick United Methodist Church, and the Riverside Grange. Lawrie was Master in 1951, helped set up the vegetable stand for many years, and brought his goats and steers to the Acton Fair every year.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Vincent and Leon Morrill; four sisters, Vivian Hussey, Doris Plante, Florence Estes, and June Hobart; a granddaughter, Jessica Morrill.

Lawrie is survived by his lovely wife of 71 years, Dorothy M. Morrill of Berwick; two sons, Michael Morrill and wife Diane of Berwick, Lawrence Morrill, Jr., of Somersworth; two daughters, Ellen Chambers of Berwick, Patricia Laplume and husband Dennis of Berwick; a sister, Joan Prince of Berwick; seven grandchildren, Cheryl Burns, Michael Morrill, Charles Morrill, Brandon Morrill, Derek Laplume, Matthew Laplume, Kelsey Laplume; seven great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
