Obituary for Parker Edwin "Putt-Putt" Colby Jr.

Parker Edwin “Putt-Putt” Colby, Jr., 60, of Berwick, died suddenly at his residence in Berwick on Sunday, July 29, 2018. He was born in Rochester, NH on June 9, 1958, the son of Parker Edwin Colby, Sr., and Golden (Debutts) Colby. He grew up in several areas, including New Hampshire and Illinois.

Parker owned and operated Colby’s Maintenance. At the time of his death, he also served as the Maintenance Man for Southern New Hampshire Services in Rochester. He is fondly remembered by the staff at Home Depot in Rochester and Dunkin Donuts as a regular customer.

Putt-Putt was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed all types of food. In earlier years, sledding and snowmobiling were his passion. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren, especially Kaylee, Jaden, Hunter & Ella.

He is predeceased by his father, Parker Edwin Colby, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Golden Elliot of Wolfeboro, NH; two sisters, Sherry Cortez and husband Medardo of Plano, TX and Doreen Colby of Rochester, NH; half-brother Dean Beland of West Palm, FL; daughters, Stephanie Harding of ME and Danielle Fuller of MN; son, Paul Colby of FL; his life partner, Cindy Phillips of Berwick along with Cindy’s daughters and husbands, Michelle & Steve Balcewicz and Kristy & Ray Michaud whom he considered his own; along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Chasse Village, 11 Adrien Circle, Rochester NH.
