Obituary for William Henry "Bill" Kahn Jr.

Watertown, MA and Kennebunk ME-
William Henry “Bill” Kahn, Jr. 77 yrs., a resident of Watertown, MA and Kennebunk, ME died Sunday December 2, 2018 at the Maine Medical Center, Portland, Me.
Bill was born in Torrington, Ct on August 7,1941 a son of the late William H. Sr. and Frances B. Kahn. Bill graduated from Torrington High School and from Western CT State University in Danbury, CT.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia Borawski Kahn, brother James Kahn of Stoneham, MA, son and daughter in law Matthew and Elizabeth Kahn of Marlborough, MA and daughter Natasha Kahn of Watertown, MA.
Before he retired Bill owned a contracting company, Architectural Renaissance and was a former teacher at Just A Start in Cambridge, MA.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Spring of 2019. Memorial donations may be made in his name to your local YMCA.
Bill was involved in a number of charities and volunteer organizations over the his lifetime. He was involved in Boy Scouts in a number of roles, worked with Rebuilding Together Boston in a number of roles including a term as president and served as a board member of the Waltham, MA YMCA.
Bill enjoyed an active life; he participated in numerous sporting activities including skiing, kayaking and snowshoeing. Bill greatly enjoyed traveling and was also an avid pool player and former semi-pro football player.
