Kennebunkport Agnes Mae Foss, 96, a longtime resident of Kennebunkport and then Kennebunk, most- recently of Seal Rock in Saco, died Monday, January 7, 2019 at her residence following a period of failing health.

Agnes was born November 12, 1922 in Quincy, MA, the daughter of Edward Collins, and is a graduate of Quincy High School, class of 1940.

She worked at Jordan Marsh in Boston until she met her future husband, Leo Foss. Soon thereafter, they moved to Cape Porpoise, ME, where she quickly became an active part of the community.

Agnes worked for 45 years at Colonial Pharmacy in Kennebunkport, retiring in 2001.

She was a member of the Kennebunk Baptist Church, a 50 -year member of Madonna Chapter #144, Order of the Eastern Star in West Kennebunk, and the Red Hat Society.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Donna Walker.

Survivors include her grandchildren, CJ Walker and his wife Erica of Gorham, Robert Walker and his wife Michelle of Spring Valley, CA, Rodney Walker and his wife Stacie of Waterboro, and Suzanne Bryant of Arundel, and great grandchildren, Hayden, Dylen, Jacob, Morgan, Nick and Tamara, and her faithful friends Eleanor Hanson of Biddeford and Beverly Meserve of Kennebunkport.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 1-3 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at Kennebunk Baptist Church, 77 Main St. Kennebunk, with an Eastern Star Service at 3 PM.
