Obituary for Ingeborg M. Von Huene (Von Huene)
Ingeborg M. von Huene, 72 years, of Western Avenue, Biddeford, died peacefully July 31, 2013 at her residence.
Ingeborg was born May 15, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA, a daughter of Rudolph and Maria Andreae von Huene. She attended grammar school in Los Angeles.
Ingeborg lived much of her life in California in residential homes for people with disabilities. She enjoyed working in sheltered workshops and was a big fan of the Dodgers. Following the lives of baseball players was one of her favorite pastimes. Ingeborg loved young children and dogs. In 2000 she moved to Maine where she resided in a group home in Biddeford.
Predeceasing Ingeborg is her brother Stephan von Huene.
Ingeborg is survived by her brother Roland von Huene of CA and her sister Eva M. Downs of Kennebunkport.
A memorial gathering will be held on August 17 from 12 to 3pm at 57 Western Ave in Biddeford.
Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, and Kennebunk, ME 04043. www.bibberfuneral.com
