Dear Deborah, My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother Pat. I have many fond memories of her, both from South Congregational Church and from my interactions with her and Pax, at the veterinary office. She was always eager to hear news of our adopted daughter, and volunteered several times to babysit when I needed help. That was very sweet, and so characteristically thoughtful. She and Pax were a wonderful couple. Thank you for all your efforts to keep them together; I am sure she was so thrilled when Huntington Common allowed him to stay, thanks to your determination and hard work. Hers was certainly a life well-lived, but I know it is a difficult time for you, and her passing leaves such a hole in your life. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
