my memories

i was a bartender/ housepainter in york around 2007 when i met bruce and annie working

instantly taking a liking to both because of there love of golf and life .they were both

easy to talk to and we all hit it off .they would come for dinners and hang at the bar and i would tell bruce my brother is a marine and i always looked up to him so i looked up to bruce as well.he sort of took me under his wing as it was telling me how he was a pilot in vietnam and was shot down over the gulf of tonkin you could tell

he wasn,t boasting or bragging he was a serious guy he gave me painting work on occasions and we didn,t know eachother for long he made me feel like a good friend he had that way he was a stand up guy and loved annie to the moon and his cats i say that because i have cats too so the last time i visited him some time in october we would talk about cats and how annie was gone and even though he was so sick he wasn,t ready to go yet.he was a fighter and a fighter pilot he was a hero to me  i will miss him and i only wish i had stopped in more often to visit but we all say that i guess so when i,m golfing at cape neddick or eating at the maine diner i will think of bruce and annie together looking down at me and smiling because they are together again  thankyou for letting me put this down

hoorah and semper fi bruce and give annie my love
