Obituary for Barbara Anne Shea Young (Shea)
Barbara Anne Shea Young, 86, of Kennebunk, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco. She was born in Somersworth, NH on August 9, 1926, a daughter of Richard Dewey and Emilda Marie (Fortier) Shea. She was the widow of George Young.
Barbara was a secretary at General Electric in Somersworth for many years. She was an artist and avid reader, and enjoyed skiing.
In addition to her husband George, she was also predeceased by her sister, Ruth A. (Hebert) of Somersworth.
She is survived by her sister, M. Gertrude Brunelle of Somersworth; her brother, Richard J. Shea of Somersworth; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Burial will be in the Spring at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Somersworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to: The Animal Welfare Society, PO Box 43, West Kennebunk, ME 04094.
Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk.
