I spent over twenty years selling real estate in Wells which is how I know Lesley. She was always happy and always very professional in her job. It is with sadness that I just heard of your loss. Being in Florida winters I lose touch with the news back home. Please accept my deepest sympathy as Lesley was a wonderful person with whom I enjoyed a business relationship.

I have lost the very best friend anyone could ever ask for. I will always remember the laughs, the tears, the work years we spent at Raytheon and all the fun we had together. She will always be forever in my heart. Love you Les. Darlings: My sincerest condolences on the loss of Lesley. May God Bless you all at this very sad time. Charlene Penta

Dear Toby, I was so sorry to hear of Lesley's passing. I have such fond memories of the two of you spending time with all of us at Wells Beach; swimming, surfing, and baseball and Indian ball at low tide. The summer Lesley got her pilot's license she took me up with her and we flew over the beach. We were both 16 or 17 so it was awesome that we had that freedom because of her. It was fun to see the beach from that perspective.

I knew from just the two weeks I saw her every August that she was a remarkable person, always up for a challenge, never one to back down. She was an inspiration and I will carry fond memories of her forever.

Lesley was a dear friend to Charlene since their days together at Raytheon. They always got together when we were vacationing in Ogunquit and she invited Charlene and my mother to the beach house on many occasions. A truly wonderful person. I met Lesley through my sister and we connected through our shared love of dogs, most importantly rescuing dogs which we always talked about whenever I saw her as we were both involved in this in our local areas (Maryland for me). She will be sorely missed.

Lesley was a very special person. Her dedicated care of her many rescued dogs, the “girls”, is something to aspire to as was her entire life’s accomplishments. Treasuring precious moments spent in interesting conversation, her beautiful smile remains imprinted in my heart. It would be an accomplishment to be half the person she was, but that would be aiming high.

To her family, very sorry for your loss.

To the Darling Family and Friends:
So sorry to read of Lesley's passing. My memories of Lesley are rich with common experiences and a lot of fun at CHLS. Lesley was one of my first friends, participating in classes, clubs, cheerleading and our infamous trip to France with Ms. Proverb and Ms Chuirri. Lesley was so much fun, she drew people to her. She had a magnetic charm. Although our paths have not crossed in many years, I will always think of her for the fun and spirit she brought to the party. Rest in Peace, Lesley.

Dear Toby: Our sincere sympathy on the passing of your sister. Leslie was so accomplished and always so sweet to everyone. Our large family had a wonderful time many years ago at Aunt Louise's house in Wells and it was great to visit with her, Leslie and Cousin Louise. Wish we had stayed in better touch. Much love to you, Mary Margaret and your children. Fondly, Tricia
