To the family,

I didn't know your mother that well, but Jean spoke of her often and I always inquired how she was doing. Last summer while working for Home In Stead I assisted her at the beach house on several occasions. She was surprisingly alert and responsive, got around well, and was an avid reader. One day I asked her why she always sat with her back to that beautiful view, and she said " I have been looking at that view for twenty seven years..." I thought she was wonderful, and my thoughts are with you.
