Dear Helen, I was so sad to hear the news of Willie's passing. You and he have both meant so much to my family over the years, and I have many special memories of Willie from my childhood. Whether visiting your house with my parents to play cards, or stopping by Dad's Mobil station when Willie was there swapping stories with the guys, or sitting at Bowdoin's lunch counter (and later Squaretoe's), or seeing him out working or driving around in his lawn service truck, I will always remember Willie for his big heart, his one-of-a-kind personality, and the incredible lifetime of friendship that he shared with my Dad. Even though I didn't get to see much of Willie in recent years, please know that I will always treasure those memories and will think of him often. You also will be in my thoughts and prayers during the difficult days and weeks ahead. With much love and sympathy, Barb
