Message: John "Brother Wop" We first met in 1969 aboard the Oriskany. When I heard you were from Connecticut and me from NJ I knew we would be friends and we were, forever. I was the first Italian in 3rd Division, and you named me Wop # 1 and yourself Wop # 2, only we could call each other that. When I heard of your passing I was very sadden.
